From adding brightness enhancement films to light recycling polarizers we can increase the performance of an OEM backlight without adding any power or heat to the assembly. When coupled with an AR film many displays are clearly viewable under full direct sunlight. By combining Vikuiti™ BEF film with Vikuiti™ DBEF film, display brightness can be increased by up to 150% over displays without film while maintaining a broad viewing angle.
